Bouncing Ball Books, Miami’s new small independent book publisher, will be an exhibitor at the Miami Book Fair International on Friday, November 17th through Sunday, November 19th. Find Bouncing Ball Books at booth # 323 Section E.
In this debut event, Bouncing Ball Books will be showcasing 10 new titles. These titles are written for readers of all ages including Emergent Readers and Beginning Readers for children and Short Story Collections and Novels for Advanced Readers and Adult Readers.
Princess Sara herself will be at the event on Saturday and Sunday presenting children (of all ages) who stop by the Bouncing Ball Books booth with free Magic Wands and Super Balls. Children may “dress up” in a “Pirate” or “Princess” costume provided for a free digital photo with Princess Sara. Activity coloring pages will be available for children as an added gift.
Princess Sara and Capitano Ricco children’s titles, along with the first two books from The Sharp-Eye Adventure Series; A Regular Bug and Message From Miami, written by Florida’s own Rebecca Bell, will be featured among children’s selections. Rebecca Bell will be attending the Fair and available to sign copies and talk to parents and children at the booth.
Tabatha D’Agata, well known children’s author and Judy Lineberger, well known illustrator, have produced an Emergent Reader series, Yes, I Can Read! Nature Series for Bouncing Ball Books. In the delightful and beautiful Ick The Stick – Book 1 and Storm Tunes – Book 2, Sal, a city kid explores nature in a kid kind of way.
Author/artist, Cherie Zendarski’s What Bird? tells the story of a mishap between the family cat and the family canary. Zendarski has mastered story telling in rhyme, highlighted with her own illustrations, this hard cover children’s book is a family favorite and fun to read.
Retired veterinarian and life-long community service advocate and activist, Dr. Stedmen Carr DVM, author of the adult short story collection True Animal Stories and adult novel Maria, Me, and Animals will be at the Bouncing Ball Books booth in the afternoons to meet readers, sign copies, and answer questions. Dr. Carr’s focus in writing is the human-animal bonding relationship.
Bouncing Ball Books announces its’ premier author, Sunday Lee; smart, sassy, and sexy. Ms. Lee’s first work is a collection of short stories with a thread of characters running through the action in Stories From South Beach. A South Beach resident, Ms. Lee will be at the Bouncing Ball Books booth on Saturday and Sunday afternoons to meet you for the first time.
