This clever and humorous collection of short stories is based upon the true human-animal bonding relationship experienced by Dr. Carr in his many years of service to the animal community as a veterinarian. Dr. Carr has always been an animal lover and has been surrounded by animals of all sorts for his entire life. True Animal Stories reflects this time spent with animals in the delightful telling of interesting encounters and adventure.
Dr. Carr’s veterinary career of forty-seven years includes animal rights activism and community service. This intelligent veterinarian reinvented himself as a writer keeping within his field of knowledge, animals and the human-animal bonding relationship.
In this collection of short stories, Carr tells the short story in superb form. He completes the plot, develops the characters – including the animal character, and touches the heart all in a few pages.
